June First Firm
Overview
DeaRonda Harrison is the founder of June First Firm, known for getting organizations some of their largest grant wins. After a decade of writing, leading, and winning multi-million dollar grants, she’s helped nonprofits secure more than $45M across federal, state, county, foundation, and corporate sources. She supports grant programs from submission to reporting guiding leaders through the parts they most prefer to avoid.
As the host of the GrantCEO podcast, she talks openly about the lessons no one admits in public: the long list of duties and what it really takes to grow from a good grant writer to Grant CEO! Through her GrantCEO business coaching program, she supports established grant writing consultants who are ready to go beyond just surviving day-to-day and build businesses that run without them.
DeaRonda holds an MBA from Ashford University and a Bachelor of Science from the prestigious Tuskegee University.
